Planning a Trip to the Cayman Islands

I am a little apprehensive about traveling alone. The last time I traveled alone was about four years ago, when I visited the Turks and Caicos. I was going through a bit of rough patch and needed time on my own to put things into perspective. Going off on a vacation alone at that time seemed like a good idea. The highlight of my trip was the island’s excellent diving sites and I definitely want to experience that again.

I am told that the Cayman Islands has some great diving sites and that’s why I want to go there. This would be my second vacation in the Caribbean. I have researched plenty of websites as to which of the three islands to visit. Interestingly all three featured on the must-visit list for diving sites. I’ve decided to visit all three islands for their diving sites. I’ll begin with Cayman Brac, then move over to Little Cayman, for a few days and finally stop at Grand Cayman. That way I can get some shopping done as well.

My friends think I’m crazy, but I’m just fed up of constantly fitting in with other people’s plans. They think I’ll be bored on my own and not really enjoy myself. But I was just fine the last time I went on my own. You never know, there are so many people who prefer to travel on their own without any added baggage. Who knows I may just meet some interesting person out there. Maybe a small holiday romance would be good for me. Ryan has been taking me for granted for a while, and I guess I need to shake him up a bit.
